Description:
Cents of Relief is providing laptops and hiring teachers to help children of prostitutes learn English and computer skills.  Simultaneously, the children will chat on-line with an e-mentor, who will be living outside of the red-light area, allowing the children a chance to reinforce the English and computer skills they are being taught and be exposed to new cultures.  An e-mentor will have the unique opportunity to develop a bond with a child from the red-light area and determine what areas a child requires more assistance in.  This upcoming year we hope to assess the first phase of the program and expand by recruiting more teachers, more e-mentors, and more laptops, while assessing the first-phase of this project.

Volunteer Opportunities:
     -  eMentor: Sign up to chat 2X/week with a child (Details are coming)
     -  English Teacher: Be a teacher in India for 6 weeks helping children ranging from 6-16 years of age learn
        English (Hindi not required as translator will be hired at all times)
     -  Computer Assistant: Help children learn emailing, designing websites, word processing, creating
        spreadsheets, and making powerpoints
